In its Jubilee year, 40 years from the founding of the Festival ‘Joy of Europe’, the Children’s Cultural Centre Belgrade and the Cultural Organization “Vuk Karadžić” young have the pleasure of presenting the “Dance Center Prague – Conservatorie” from the Czech Republic, with two evening performances: “How to Create a Dancer” and “The Dance of the Deep Forest”
The Dance Center Prague – Conservatorie“ is the first educational and arstistic school in the Czech Republic which, as well as teaching ballet and general education, has institutionalized the teaching of modern, contemporary and jazz dance techniques.
The Dance Center Prague – Conservatorie consists of two dance companies – “Baby Ballet Prague” and “Ballet Prague Junior” and the “International Dance Centre”, which organizes international dance seminars, student exchanges and production and includes a students’ art agency.

“How to Create a Dancer”
Educational performance
The programme aims to motivate the younger generation to adopt an active approach to dance and the theatre.
The performance consists of 12 short pieces, ranging from the classical repertoire to contemporary and jazz dance.
Duration: 75 minutes, without an interval.
The presenter of the programme, in a popular, explicit and general way presents a new understanding of dance education - above all, how a professional dancer prepares. Using simple language, wihout formal expressions, he describes what goes into making a modern, educated and expressive artist.

An original libretto with a universal, human and ecological message, performed by young professionally trained student artists of the Dance Center Prague – Conservatorie“.
